  • Information for Patients

Periodontal disease (also known as gum disease) is a silent disease, often pain-free, but if left un-checked can result in loose teeth and often tooth loss. In fact, periodontal disease is the major cause of tooth loss in adults.

Periodontal diseases are caused by infections of the gums which gradually destroy the attachment fibers and supporting bone that hold your teeth in your mouth. Brushing and flossing daily will prevent most periodontal conditions.

The best strategy for patients with periodontal disease is to maintain good oral hygiene and to obtain timely, effective treatment.

In the following pages patients will find much useful information about the causes and treatment of periodontal diseases, and have access to additional information via the valuable reference links.

Acheive optimum oral health with state-of-the-art comprehensive periodontal therapy in a caring, comfortable and relaxed environment.
